I have been drawing since I was a kid. I started taking more interest in it when I was in middle school, which made me to learn new skills and continue to draw. In high school I took art and drafting classes. I took interest in animation and applied to the Digital Animation course at the Truro, NSCC. There I learned life drawing, animation, digital illustration and editing. After I graduated, I worked at a local print shop and continued my drawing. I then realized that I could really do well in the graphic design field. I applied to Holland College in PEI for their Graphic Design course. I learned much about layout design, typography, branding and portfolio development. Once I graduated from there, I moved to Halifax, NS and pursed my career in Graphic Design.

There were bumps along the way, but I never stopped. I took up small freelance projects and continued to draw for myself. I got into craft fairs and started selling my illustration work.  Eventually I found a really great job at a local print shop (The UPS Store) as their in-house graphic designer. I worked there for more than 6 years, and at the beginning of 2017 I decided to go full time freelance. This allowed me to dedicate my time to my clients and allowed me to focus on my illustration work.

I am always up to new challenges, which includes contract work, full time work, or freelance work. Please check out my resume.

You can find me on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to follow along on my journey.
